Your critical analysis should contain 2 elements:
1. A report that contains a detailed analysis of heritage and cultural tourism in a destination, or an analysis of the development and provision of a cultural product
or event: 2,000 words
2. A piece of travel writing which records your own subjective thoughts and
responses to a destination, which may be the same or another: 1,000 words
The first element will a critical analysis of the “supply side” of cultural and heritage
tourism, while the part two will deal with your own subjective response to these same features and will be presented as an annex to your report.

However, there are various economic benefits of tourism, quote from the United Nations Environment Program (2010) indicated that “tourism’s economic benefits relate to foreign exchange earrings, which tourists’ expenditure, the export and import of related products and services generate revenue to the country, and can stimulate the investment necessary to finance growth in other economic sectors”.
This statistical information will reflect different aspects of domestic and international tourism such as number of travelers, number of overnight stays, purpose of travel, types of accommodation, economic value of expenditures, etc.
I think people get confused about having only one idea in a paragraph and having a central theme to the paragraph. For cause and solution essays, it’s the same. One paragraph for causes and one paragraph for solutions. The examiner is actually looking for logically organised ideas and it definitely logical to organise it in that way.
